In General:
Qualification for refund and returns expire at 30 days. After 30 days have passed from the date of purchase, all sales are final.
davidpandone.com is an education and research site and therefore many of the items offered in trade hold value as intellectual property, as an intangible form of information, or as product that cannot be returned due to the nature of its existent value; such as a digital file. Therefore, only physical items capable of being physically returned in their original packaging in original condition are eligible for return and refund on davidpandone.com.
To be eligible for a return and refund, your tangible item in physical form must be unused, unmarked, and in the same condition that you received it. Return shipping is the responsibility of the shipper.
Books purchased at retail through Amazon.com must be returned to Amazon.com.
To complete your return, we require a receipt, invoice, or proof of purchase. Multi-unit bundles of books discounted for resale purchased at davidpandone.com are eligible for return or refund on a per-unit basis if:
- the book is undamaged
- the book is clean and unmarked
- return is accompanied by original invoice
- return is confirmed within 30 days of purchase
- the return arrives shipping prepaid
- EX: (8 of 10) books refunded if (2) damaged
Multi-unit bundles of books intended for resale are not eligible for partial returns; meaning if 10 books go out, 10 books get returned and are evaluated for return credit as a bundle. Partial refunds may be offered and will be granted on a case by case and item by item basis:
- Book with obvious signs of use (wear, writing, etc.)
- CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Only items returned as originally manufactured are eligible for return or refund. Book editions that have been signed by the author are a special order item dedicated to the recipient and are not eligible for return.
In more specific terms:
The cognizance of ideas, strategies, and concepts involved in education related through the MoneySmart online courses cannot be returned by the consumer. Nor can it be specifically ensured that no benefit was accessed to content, downloads, or resources associated with an educational product or coaching session. Neither could seller or purchaser be held responsible for accurately tracking digital files that could be infinitely copied guaranteeing that they would not be used, copied, or given to those who did not purchase them. To date it is at best impractical to track such, or simply impossible.
Therefore, once the purchaser chooses to complete the sale thereby initiating available access to course content, member interaction, forum discussion, guidance, any related information in any form, or any type of perceptible benefit, regardless of whether any access has been acted upon or concluded, all sales are considered final on such intangible items of intellectual property as described above.
Blanket statements:
Several types of goods are held by most sellers and traders as being generally exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines which outlive their usefulness or freshness quickly, as well as products that are intimate or sanitary goods, and hazardous materials such as flammable liquids or gases.
Returns
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund and where possible why the return was rejected or discounted
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

The MoneySmart and SOSv1 books are printed to order therefore any orders returned in quantities of 10 or more will be charged a restocking fee of 10%.
Late or missing refund?
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first double check your bank account for recent updates.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at admin@davidpandone.com and allow us to follow up the transaction from our end.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, see notes on Shipping Returns below.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, either return the gift to the person who bought you the gift, or request that they supply the original invoice so that you can return the item yourself. All other return qualifications apply.
Shipping returns:
Do NOT ship returns without first contacting us to let us know what the problem is. Contact us at admin@davidpandone.com and relate a detailed description of why your shipment is not as you expected.
Once you have a return authorization email, pack your shipment along with a copy of the return authorization email and mail your product to:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, your refund will be credited once the item has been returned in good condition. The cost of return shipping and/or a restocking fee may be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service such as USPS Certified Mail and purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that any third party shipper will deliver your returned item(s) as expected.
